About the role
Your role as an Internal Sales Consultant will be to promote and sell our software into schools via outbound business development calls and providing online demonstrations.
You will be speaking to warm leads who have expressed an interest in our products and also speaking with schools that you’ve researched and cold-called independently. The key focus of the Internal Sales Consultant will be to build a trusted relationship with prospective customers and be able to showcase our market-leading products. You will also be responsible for upselling additional products and services where appropriate.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be a key member of a growing internal sales team servicing a geographical region. You’ll also work closely with our remote Regional Consultants who are based out in the field.
Desired Skills and Experience
We are looking for self-motivated, bright, energetic, target-driven individuals who are real team-players and accustomed to delivering results.
Our ideal candidates should have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar Internal Sales Consultant role. Experience of B2B telesales, with knowledge of selling some form of web-based software solutions would be highly advantageous, however this is not essential as we would welcome proven salespeople from all backgrounds.
Most important to us is a real can-do attitude and proven telesales/sales confidence and ability. Full product training will be provided.
In return, we offer a generous basic salary of between £20k-25k depending on experience, with a realistic OTE of an additional £20k (uncapped) bonus.
